You need this bowling shirt in your collection! This 1940s Nat Nast gabardine shirt comes embroidered with the name Pat, who bowled for the Arpeako Quality Meats team, probably out of Rochester, NY (since that is where Arpeako was based out of). The lime green gabardine catches your attention and is so comfy to wear. The shirt has definitely bowled some Turkeys, and shows some signs of wear from regular trips to the bowling alley. It might even have been in rotation at a theater company since it seems like the stains pictured are perhaps from make-up. The buttons have been replaced, but they all match and look nice on the shirt. There are even bonus armpit vent holes, when you’re sweatin’ that perfect 300 score. I highlighted any flaws in the photos, including some small holes in square shapes on the lower back side of the shirt (maybe from belt loops being attached at some point for sizing issues?) Despite all of the little blemishes, the shirt is in great vintage condition and 100% wearable.
