1950s Double Breasted Shirt Dress With Purple Flowers | Vintage Watercolor Print Day Dress

This is a gorgeous day dress from the 1950s with a beautiful dark watercolor print of purple flowers on a dark green and black background. The purple flowers have some nice white highlighting which allows the colors to really pop even though this is such a dark palette. The double breasted detail and the wide lapel that lays on the shoulders really make the dress. The box pleats allow for a full skirt that lays nice and flat at the waist. This dress is in mint vintage condition and may even be deadstock. The tag reads J. Harlan Originals, 100% acetate, size 10. This vintage size 10 is a contemporary size 4.
