  • Details
This is a beautiful, red wool jacket made by the Hewitt Manufacturing Corp. out of Clifton, NJ. It is from the early 1950s and in perfect vintage condition. It is made of heavy wool with red and white leather trim at the pocket openings and on the sleeve hems. The pocket linings are intact. The closure is a heavy duty Talon zipper and the coat is fully lined with a gorgeous gray diamond tuck, satin, twill fabric. It was made for John Applegate from the Long Valley Fire Company in Long Valley, NJ, and marked a size 38. The letters and the appliqué on the back are wool felt and the name on the front and at the inside facing are embroidered. This jacket is truly exquisite in both its fabrication and condition. It is almost as if it was never even worn.

    Measurements:
