1940s Italian Raffia Handbag Vintage Crocheted Purse

This is a very well preserved, crocheted raffia handbag made in Italy and styled by Simon. It's neutral creamy beige tone makes it very versatile and will complement any outfit. It is lined with a cream colored woven fabric and has an inside zipped pocket as well as an open pocket. The plastic beads woven into the design add a nice detail. The length of the bag, 14" (20" including the braided handle), also makes this a unique handbag that can be used for more than just a wallet and a phone. It's width measures 10" and the depth is 1". The ball clasp metal frame is covered in raffia as well and closes firmly. This handbag is in excellent vintage condition and would be a nice addition to any collection.
