1950s Black Wool Short Sleeved Dress

This is a ‘little black dress’ in wool that you can wear for any occasion if you accessorize properly! The simple grosgrain ribbon with a bow at the waist adds just the right amount of detail to this classic piece. I love the short sleeves in wool, which I think make it more wearable. It is in very good vintage condition with the only flaw being a handful of tiny moth holes due to improper storage (see photos). I don’t think that it affects the wearability at all, especially if you wear a black slip underneath (which is a necessity with an unlined dress).
