1970s Patent Leather and Canvas Ankle Boots

These ankle boots are so unique, black and beige, made of patent leather, and topped with canvas to look like spats. They are deadstock and have no signs of wear, however, there are a few spots that have small stains on the canvas. The canvas uppers also are a bit rippled from however they had been stored before I found them. The inside of the boot is lined in leather, so this rippling might work itself out with regular wear. I don’t think that it really affects the wearability of these adorable booties. They are marked a women’s size 8.5M. They measure 9.5” on the insole from toe to heel and 3.25” on the widest part of the sole at the ball of the foot. The heel is 2 3/4”.
